Worship & Care

Meeting again on Sunday - from Sunday August 2nd: We plan, God-willing, to meet again from Sunday 2nd August. We will meet at St Mark's church at 10am. If you would like to join us on 2nd August or any subsequent Sunday please telephone the church office (355824) and leave a message, including details of how many people in your household will be attending. This is to ensure that we are able to arrange the seating in an appropriate socially distanced way. Thank you.

Ongoing pastoral support: Daily encouragement is available here.
Tony K and Hannah J are coordinating our pastoral care for the elderly in our church family.

Coffee and chat on Sunday - Are you missing chatting to one another after the service on Sunday? At 12pm each Sunday there'll be mingling via Zoom to give an opportunity to chat. Bring your own coffee! If you'd like to join in please email Steve Wilcox. If you'd like to join in by phone (landline or mobile) then telephone Steve and he'll give you the details of how you can do that.

Life Groups - Life Groups have ceased meeting for the summer.

Central Meeting - During the summer we meet together instead of ln lifegroups, we will be engaging with the online meetings at the Keswick convention.

Invite someone to church. It's never been easier to invite a friend, family member or someone you've just met to join us in our Sunday worship - ask if they'd like to join in and send them the link to the online service (www.anlabychurches.org.uk/online)... that's it. Pray that God would lead them to do so.

Church office - In line with government guidance the Church Office is closed and Jo Hepworth will be working from home.Messages can be left on the answerphone at the office and will be picked up periodically. Email messages will be answered as usual. Please could everyone else refrain from going into the office. Jo is happy to do any church-related photocopying which may be needed, if adequate time is given. If you are in need of assistance please do contact the office via the form, rather than the telephone so that your request may be dealt with quicker.

Financial Giving - We trust that many people are being blessed through the ministry of the Anlaby Churches at this difficult time. We are thankful to the many who are continuing to give by standing order, to enable us to continue to operate. Though some of our building costs may have dropped, our staff costs and many other costs continue. For those who usually give by envelope, we would be very grateful if you could consider whether you might set up a standing order (if you are able to or donate online. You can find details of how to do this here
