Meeting on Sunday: During the current lockdown we are permitted to continue meeting physically as long as we ensure that we are Covid-secure. Our service plan at present is as follows:
10am at St Peter's, Anlaby | 4pm at St Mark's, Anlaby Common | 5:30pm Youtube live from 4pm Service |
Mingling
Please be advised that the government has made it very clear that churches are allowed to keep meeting because to date we have been very rigorous in ensuring Covid-safety at our services. We have been asked to ensure that this continues, and in particular to ensure that there is no mingling between "bubbles" before, during or after services. We would therefore ask that (with the exception of those who have an official role) those attending go straight to your seat on arrival and that you leave straight away after the service. It'll still be lovely to see you throughout the service though!
To Attend
If you would like to join us please telephone the church office (355824) and leave a message, including details of how many people in your household will be attending. This is to ensure that we are able to arrange the seating in an appropriate socially distanced way. Please bring a face covering. Please also note that at present no mingling between households is allowed before, during or after the service. Thank you.
Have you started worshipping with us online recently? We love it
when people join us online, and we hope that you feel part of the church
community even if you haven't met with us in person before! We'd love to hear from you about how you've found meeting with us, and what your thoughts are about worshipping with us in future. Would you be able to take about 3 minutes to complete this questionnaire. Your responses will be seen by our website administrator and Steve (our Pastor) and used only for the purposes of planning our provision.
Life Groups - Life Groups are now running fortnightly on Zoom. For more information please see the Life group page.
Invite someone to church. It's never been easier to invite a friend, family member or someone you've just met to join us in our Sunday worship - ask if they'd like to join in and send them the link to the online service (www.anlabychurches.org.uk/online)... that's it. Pray that God would lead them to do so.
Financial Giving - We trust that many people are being blessed through the ministry of the Anlaby Churches at this difficult time. We are thankful to the many who are continuing to give by standing order, to enable us to continue to operate. Though some of our building costs may have dropped, our staff costs and many other costs continue. For those who usually give by envelope, we would be very grateful if you could consider whether you might set up a standing order (if you are able to or donate online. You can find details of how to do this here.
