Sparks (4-11's)

 Sunday's during St Mark's Community Church: 4pm - 5:15pm

imageActivities, games and bible teaching alongside the 4[m church service for children to have a safe space to learn at their own pace about the Christian faith.

We believe it is never too soon to start learning about Jesus; so after starting the afternoon together with the whole church family, children of preschool and primary school ages 4 to 11 are invited to join us for Sparks. The group begins each of it's sessions together in St Mark's hall with a time of worship and storytelling to explore the theme in age appropriate activities.

Please accompany your child to the hall and sign them into their session each week when directed to in the service. Younger children will be given additional support to access the activities. Your children will be brought back to you in the main building at the end of the service.

Ablaze (11-15's)

Friday Evenings7:30pm-9:00pm: See Term Card for Dates as we meet 3 out of 4 Fridays.

ABLAZE is our Friday evening youth group based at St Mark's! It's a great place to meet new people, have fun and find out about God. We are passionate to see our young people on fire for Jesus,  ABLAZE is somewhere our youth can meet together having loads of fun and making new friends/catching up with old ones.

We usually begin the night at 7.30pm with an activity,  usually sport or games. After that we will explore the bible together in engaging ways, carrying on with games and challenges, a chance to chat, ask questions, pray and more.

We meet in the St Mark's church building, 3 out of 4 Friday's during term time, as we look to grow as young people who follow Jesus or want to investigate the Christian faith.
There's something for everyone. Why not come along - and invite a friend!'

Special Educational Needs

All children are special but we know that some children’s needs require a little more prior knowledge and attention so please speak to a leader if you are concerned about your child being able to access the activities / groups.

All of our volunteers hold current DBS clearance and receive training in line with section 20 of our safeguarding policy, which can be found here.
