St. Peter's Church at 10am

What to expect

imageWe meet each week to encounter the living God, to hear him speak to us by his Spirit through the Bible, to respond to him in prayer and praise, and to be equipped to serve him in the following week. We are a variety of ages and backgrounds, but one Christ-centred community.

A number of families with children attend 10am at St Peter's. We begin the service together, and after 15 minutes or so children aged 3 and over head to Children's church, which currently meets in the vestry. [All our volunteers have received DBS clearance]. A creche area with a soundlink is available for children under 3 with a parent / carer.

Do stay behind after the service for refreshments – we see these as being as important as the service itself, as we have a chance to get to know one another better.

Children & Young People

 Children's Corner (0 to 7)

imageAt the rear left of the church there is an area set out for children with activity bags and colouring sheets.

Children and their parent/carer(s) are able to visit this area throughout the service, as they wish to make use of the activities.

 Créche (0 to 3)

imageWe know that our youngest family members need a bit of extra wriggle room during a service. Our créche is situated in the vestry at the back left of the church and allows for babies and toddlers to play safely with the toys provided.

Currently 0 to 3 year olds must be supervised by their parent/carer, but the vestry allows for adults to still hear and access the main service through the sound link provided.

 Children's Church (3 to 11)

After the first couple of songs and the children's talk, the children who wish to attend are accompanied to the Vestry attached to the main building.

They take part in themed games, learn about the true stories of God and his people through age-appropriate Bible teaching. Currently we are following The Jesus Storybook Bible.
